Optical Transmission Cavity
Correlate EPR and Optical Signals
The cavity is designed for convenient optical access from the front and the rear side. The resonator allows unhindered irradiation of the sample and comes equiped with both modulation and rapid scan coils. The dimensions of the optical transmission paths are: 4 x 10 mm (optional 5 mm i.d. cylinder). The resonant frequency is 9.66 GHz and the unloaded Q is 7000. All temperature control equipment can be used.
The resonator is mainly used for optical detection experiments. It is also useful for intense UV-irradiation with minimum background signal.
